As a Financial Analyst I diligently work with all parties to reconcile all banking transactions. Enter all checking maintenance, expenditure maintenance, make daily deposits, and all other accounting action items needed as assigned. Aid all stake holders to ensure accurate documentation provided to and from the Financial Department is turned in punctual and correct. Review and assist all schools and departments to ensure incoming and outgoing payments are accurate with appropriate documentation. Payroll Technician

As a payroll technician I ensure paychecks are accurate and compliant with both state and federal tax laws. Payroll processing includes semimonthly, monthly and/or supplemental payrolls for all workers hourly and/or salaried. It also includes processing extra-duty payments as submitted and other duties as assigned by the Payroll Supervisor. Communication is a key component to this job with Human Resources Department, school administrators, school treasurers and employees.
• Analyze, interpret, and reconcile incoming payroll to ensure employees are paid correctly.
• Prepare calculations for over and under payments.
• Calculate and complete (installment), resignation and retirement payouts.
• Process retroactive pay and recoup over-payments.
• Research payroll discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
• Provide daily support to school treasurers and assist with trainings.
• Process payroll data on a timely basis to meet mandated deadlines.
• Work with the Budget Office to set up salaries in correct budget codes and to clear audit exceptions from DPI.
• Accurately key medical leave as submitted by the Leave Analyst.
• Set up new hires into the payroll system.
• Complete workups for and key in salary adjustments per EPA from Licensure.
• Reconcile leave records during and at year end.
• Follow proper steps to deactivate and/or close out employee records.
