Provide expert information technology consultant services on specific tasks for Air Mobility Command (AMC) Networks Division. Assisted AMC, the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) and all AMC base Network Control Centers (NCCs) with the development of planning documentation, acquisition support, engineering, and coordination of activities involving the four components of MAJCOM Enterprise Network (core services, network services, desktop services, and functional systems). Wrote the NIPRNET 5-Year Roadmap for the AMC Enterprise, which is currently in staff coordination. Identified emerging technology for AMC to include infrastructure upgrades for the enterprise which currently supports 85,000 users at 12 dispersed locations around the United States. Served as a member of the Capability Based Planning team for the C4IO NetCentric team. Wrote a business case analysis on enterprise storage; clearly articulated the way ahead on Storage Area Network (SAN) solution and vendor. Designed and managed WCCS implementations, from site survey through wing commander’s acceptance of the system. Led integrated hardware/software teams from six disciplines supporting eight military bases involved with Bosnia, the Persian Gulf, and other global locations. Results: Provided critical software/information tools to the customer ahead of schedule and within budget during a three-year high-operations period. Directed a large site survey team for a classified multi-million dollar automated system at two locations in Korea.
