Somiluana mine/ Angola
I worked for Somiluana Dimond mine in Angola as Head of Sector of Construction and Maintenance.
My responsibilities were; building of houses, camps and offices. Renovating offices, kitchens, hostel blocks and the moving of the diamond plants MB100 and MB 200
Servicos Atlantico May 2007- June 2013
I started working for the company in May 2007, building a camp of quick space houses in Cameroon for 9 months, moving on to Liberia to rebuild the Todee Mission School for former president Johnson Sirleaf for a period of 1 year and 4 months, after completing the school we were still in Liberia at a new site, building camps for BHP Billiton and revamping their HQ office in Monrovia. After completion I was sent to Guinea to Supervise Construction and Maintenance for 3 years for SMFG (BHP Billiton)
I then worked in Mozambique for 8 months, building camps, offices, kitchens and to do the maintenance.

I worked for ETIS in Luanda Angola revamping the (Trans Hex) house, March 2003-Sep 2003.
Still working for ETIS I worked at Luarica mine. I did Plant and camp maintenance as well as all the refrigeration on site.
Trans Hex company June 2007-Dec 2002
I worked on a mine in the Richtersveld as an Assistant Plant Supervisor on the DMS and the washing & screening from June 1997- end of November 1997.
Still working for Trans Hex, I lived and worked in Baken a mining town as Assistant electrician and Plant maintenance, installations, cable work, house maintenance and wiring, from there I moved to Paarl where I currently still live.
PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
I am experienced in Construction and maintenance, Diamond plants, washing & screening and DMS, electrical house wiring and refrigeration.
I have worked over 14 years in Africa in different locations. A company I worked for in Liberia and Guinea, was subcontracted under BHP Billiton, and 5 years in South Africa where I worked on Diamond plants, electrical installation and maintenance.
I was self-employed from 2018-2025 February.
