Compounding/Batch maker

IFS-Garland, TX

September 2023 to November 2024

Job duties were to pull raw materials example, Escorez 5400, Licocene 6102, Kraton 6125, etc or whatever the batch sheets consist of for that night. Forklifts were used to pull the materials once pulled you had to place them on top of the mezenin and placed by your tank. Each batch was 6000-7000 lbs, materials were to be dropped in the order from the batch sheets top to bottom as followed. Materials were dropped in a slow process in order to avoid clogged machines and interference of the RPM blade. Tanks were to be set at 180 to 340 degrees depending on the batch. After the batches were completed a viscosity test was performed by ourselves or a Quality control tech.Once cooled and viscosity test was confirmed the tanks were vacuumed tested for 15 to 20 mins before transferred to be ran on the lines. Quality Control Inspector

Atrium Windows and doors-Dallas, TX

June 2011 to July 2019

Four years of Head and Sill saw operator/ five years of Quality Control Tech. I worked 2 saws for fabrication of heads and sills which are the top and bottoms of window frames, as well as jamb saw fabrication, Jambs are the sides of a window frame. Each cut during this fabrication process had to be percise in measurement because these were being installed in homes. After parts were cut and measured each piece head, sills, jambs had to go through a number of punch processes as well as another cut process. Every 5 parts must be measured after a cut to ensure precision. During my time as a QA tech I had to perform in process and out process checks of materials and 40 % of the frames on which line or lines I worked. Daily logs of defects, scratched materials, broken glass, missing window accessories were to be taken and submitted daily after my shift. I had to implement any new procedure that my supervisor asked of me weather it was a new safety lock, new glass type, etc. Education
