I answer phones, take orders from suppliers, and transcribe orders given by a physician

Handles the majority of a patient’s paperwork, such as discharge, admission, and personal information forms.

Admit/Discharge patients in a computer arrhythmia system.

Documents, on admission to telemetry, and analyzed baseline rhythm strip.

Gives verbal requests to nursing staff regarding patient EKG rhythm.

Completes hand-off communication to oncoming MT.

Answers call lights and if unable to independently assist, communicates patients' needs to assigned RN or Charge Nurse.
