Venue: Capacity +/- 150 people (weddings, conferences, and functions) Accommodation: 22 Rooms – to accommodate 54 people Kitchen: 1 x functions and 1 x restaurant and breakfast Parlor Oversee organizational activities of the lodge, encompassing guest services, maintenance tasks, and kitchen operations. Collaborate with Lodge Owners to create, manage, and control budgets and forecasts. Recruit, train, and develop lodge staff while addressing personnel-related issues. Ensure proper waste management, sanitation, and pest control. Ensure compliance with all relevant licensing and permits. Achieve sustainability targets. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance. Oversee social media platform management. Enhance guest experience while maintaining brand standards.

BULLS BAR, ACCOMMODATION & BISTRO

Bar Capacity: +/- 200 – 300 people

Accommodation: 14 Rooms

Kitchen: Fully functional

On-site property managers for a bar, accommodation, and bistro in Evander, Mpumalanga. Responsibilities include overseeing housekeeping and cleaning for daily/monthly or hourly rentals and the main lodge, including laundry. Duties also involve preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as beverage service.

Additional tasks include gardening, event preparation, arranging event flowers, setting tables, front desk reception, guest relations, accounting, weekly employee scheduling, training and supervising employees, ordering food, wine, and supplies, menu design, creating social media content, designing event flyers, updating the website, property maintenance, filling propane tanks, welding, animal care, and other tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities also encompass kitchen clean-up, stocking supplies, cleaning BBQs, trash collection, recycling, coordinating with contractors, managing budgets, record keeping, maintaining mechanical systems, lighting systems (replacing bulbs and cleaning chandeliers), electrical work, plumbing, painting, landscaping, irrigation, lawn care (using deck mowers, edgers, blowers), pest and weed control, maintaining kitchen herb gardens, vehicle and equipment preventative maintenance, and overall upkeep of the premises.
