As a Mechanical Designer/Drafter at Aery I use both Solidworks and autocad softwares to create, modify and reverse engineer parts, assemblies and drawings used in the modification of aircrafts. Model and Drawing checker. I modify drawing packages, test documents and procedures based on engineering redlines.

I was responsible for converting PDF’s to autocad drawings. I updated ship drawings to current NAVSEA standards and also incorporated engineering changes per redlines. Sumitomo Industries of America 09/28/10 - 03/17/12 Laid Off As a Mechanical Designer at Sumitomo, I was responsible for creating various gear box applications from a part modeling, assembly and drawing aspect. I also attended a 2-week course on the use and functions of Autodesk Inventor 2010 3-D software. Busch USA, Virginia Beach, Va. 07/21/06 - 09/21/10 As a Mechanical Designer at Busch USA utilizing Solidworks 2010, my responsibilities included designing complete custom vacuum pump systems for industrial, laboratory and medical applications, to include structure and along with the entire piping system. I also prepared system manuals for each application. Each project included part modeling, assemblies and drawings while using Solidworks 2010.

As a Mechanical Drafter/Designer I was responsible for learning and applying Pro-E and StepTrans Engineering software. Coordinated with the engineering and design team on various projects and drawings. I spent one week in Charleston, S.C. learning StepTrans an engineering software that works with Pro-E to design and develop parts for armed services munitions. I converted armed services munition's part drawings from AutoCAD to Pro-E using StepTrans software. I also, updated Abrams MIA tank manuals for maintenance procedures performed in the field.

Cane River Associates, Silver Springs, MD. 03/13/05 - 04/29/05 I was a Telecommunications Drafter for the At&t / Cingular merger. I was responsible for converting hand drawn sketches from telecommunications technicians in the field to working AutoCAD drawings. I was also responsible for rechecking drawings for accuracy for the designers at Cingular.
