ACADEMIC PROJECT EXPERIENCE:
Optimizing Laser Hot-wire Directed Energy Deposition (LHW-DED) for Improved Thermal and Mechanical Performance in Additive Manufacturing. – Master’s Thesis
Performed an in situ Experimental Hot Wire DED Thermal Analysis using Invar 36 material and compared it with the Finite Element Method using ANSYS.
Quantified the melt pool experimentally and identified the LASER power distribution by matching the state-of-the-art model to the melt pool.
Modeled and simulated a printing process with ANSYS to predict temperature distribution and history.
Recorded temperature profile during printing with FLIR Infrared (IR) camera and measured deformation with CREAFORM laser 3D scan and Geomatic-X software.
Contributed to an understanding of LHW-DED metal additive manufacturing, with the potential to improve productivity and quality of additive manufacture of metals.
A major project on “HYBRID VEHICLE CHALLENGE” (Design of a Roll Cage) was conducted by the “Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers.” -Bachelor’s Project
Designed a chassis model using CATIA V5, according to the competition.
Performed stress Analysis of the Chassis on ANSYS Software.
Mini project on “Mobile Operating Robot” Using PCB controller.
