Managed a food distribution company with a total staff of 900 employees and 2,000 customers in the Tri-State area.

Interviewing employees, conducting candidate investigations, background checks, facilitating drug screens and physicals through Concentra, presenting employees with offers of employment, working with the Human Resource Manager to establish medical benefits, 401k plans and profit sharing.

Handled all Workers Comp claims and investigations including monitoring and authorizing medical treatment for injured employees.

Conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of six employees for stealing over $30,000 of company property where two warehouseman conspired with four truck drivers to unlawfully remove pallets of company property into their trucks for resale. Successfully provided the Detectives of the Carlstadt Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office with my in depth investigation and surveillance videos which led to the successful prosecution and sentencing for all six actors charged with multiple counts of theft. The prosecution was able to award the company its entirety in lost revenue as a result of the theft. This case was made public in the news and published in the newspapers in Bergen County.
Reduced injuries and Workers Comp claims by 65% in six months under a Safe Environment Initiative Protocol that I integrated with bi-annual evaluations of the use of company equipment coupled with random drug testing.
Investigated complaints from our truck drivers regarding customers who were found to be stealing cases of product or switching labels, monitored truck drivers through GPS devices to assure that they were arriving and completing their stops, terminated truck drivers for theft and withheld money that was held in an escrow from their security deposits, conducted audits of missing cases and charged back drivers for shorts.
Effectively utilized Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, GPS Maps Systems for monitoring over 200 trucks, and over 400 CCTV Cameras with downloadable data.
Newark Police Department: Police Detective

Worked in all four Precincts both in Patrol and Detective Divisions.
Narcotic Detective in different investigative factions for over twelve (12) years who led the city in narcotics arrests from 2004-2012 while detailed to the Safe City Task Force (SCTF) Narcotic Enforcement Team (NET) yielding 2,080 arrests per year with a 98% subsequent conviction rate.
Detailed to the Special Investigative Unit (SIU) and Criminal Gang Intelligence Unit (CGIU) making an Essex County wide record of most weapons arrest, yielding 224 handguns/shotguns/machine guns off the street in a six (6) month period.
Detailed to the Robbery/Homicide Division investigating robberies, homicides, carjacking, home invasions, kidnappings, arson, and weapons related offenses while being overseen by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office with a 93% case closeout rate.
Detailed to the Auto Squad and Auto Theft Task Force (ATTF) investigating all auto thefts, pursuing stolen vehicles and apprehending suspects, working closely with insurance companies for fraudulent insurance claims, fingerprinting vehicles, working with Risk Analysis Management Systems (RAMS) to determine repeat auto theft offenders, and successfully shutting down chop shops.
Detailed to the DEA while working as a Narcotics Detective and worked with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF).
