Oversee all facets of administrative operations, including employee records management for over 90 personnel, licensure and accreditation, as well as annual evaluation coordination. Communicate with and onboard all new hires, ensuring adherence to overarching policies, procedures and best practices; administer ongoing evaluations to drive performance improvement. Monitor and maintain records of all time and payroll through Kronos. Support continuous process and quality improvement initiatives within the laboratory and throughout the hospital. Maintain SOPs across Chemistry, Micro, Hematology,
Blood Bank, and Front Office operations, compiling and presenting documentation to Policy and Procedures Approval Committee for modifications, as needed. Coordinate scheduling of appointments in Microsoft Outlook; manage quality control and preventative maintenance across laboratory operations, arranging for repairs, as needed. Maintain database of CAP surveys and ensured personnel testing requirements were met in accordance with State regulations. Place purchase orders to maintain internal supply levels; complete all purchase forms and requisitions as needed. Submit monthly safety reporting and supported implementation of safety improvements.
Key Accomplishments: • Submitted and maintained CLIA, CAP, JCAHO, and State license information and qualifications for 4 divisions of laboratory (Waived and Non Waived testing). Writing, proof reading SOP’s for Front Office Operations using Media Lab and Policy STAT.
