Outback Steakhouse – Monroe, NY 11/2019 – 9/2021

oI originally was hired as a hostess. My duties included greeting and sitting customers, booking reservations, handling front of the house phone calls and any customer or staff service needs. After 9 months I was promoted to take away/delivery. Here I was tasked with taking customer orders over the phone inputting them into our computer and making sure the customer received their food in a professional and timely manner. I also handled deliveries where I would greet customers with in person customer service and professionalism.

Royal Class Service – New Windsor, NY 10/2016 - 4/2019

oI was hired as apart time outbound sales caller to help revitalize the company’s membership program. After a few months and abundant success, I was promoted to a full-time receptionist and customer service specialist. My duties included booking appointments, handling billing and customer service calls as well as running the company’s after-hours emergency service line.

RTI International-Raleigh, NC 01/2015 – 05/2015

oI worked as an outbound telephone interviewer. I called people and asked them to complete a survey about their health insurance. I was hired for this specific assignment and completed my duties there in the top percentile.

Security Force INC.-Raleigh, NC 11/2014 – 12/2014

oThis was an outbound call center where we cold called people and offered them free installation on home security systems if they paid a monthly fee. I was only with this company for a short time because it was only a few hours a week and I left for a full time position at RTI.

Avis Flowers-Mahwah, NJ 03/2014 – 06/2014

oI was hired as a seasonal employee for the busy season. Here I did both inbound and outbound sales calls to people selling flower arraignments. I handled flower arraignments for holidays as well as funerals and they were shipped nationally.

Net-A-Portier-Mahwah, NJ 06/2013 – 12/2013

oI was hired through a temp agency as a seasonal customer service representative for this company. I handled the emails sent by clients regarding their orders and any discrepancies that occurred with the orders. This was a high-pressure position because the customers were usually disgruntled and the amount of emails that needed to be handled with precise detail in the amount of time we had was in great excess.

oMy job here was to call homeowners and try and persuade them to switch to an alternate energy source and join our company. This was a difficult job because many customers at the time were unfamiliar with what I was offering so I had to use my customer service skills to not only gain the customers trust and sell them on the benefits of the company but also explain what the service I was offering.

Walmart-Harriman, NY 04/2007 – 01/2009

oI began as a cashier at Walmart and was promoted to customer service manager. As customer service manager I had to handle returns, customer grievances and money gram transactions. This position gave me a chance to work on my customer service skills face to face with the customer and allowed me to try and fix whatever discrepancy they were having.

oI worked both inbound and outbound customer care and sales calls while at this company. I called for several different products including Budget rent a car, The New York Times. Readers Digest and Sirius satellite radio. I was one of the top sales reps for this company several months and constantly exceeded sales goals.
