Work description Independent Contractor:
I'm a Construction Senior Lead Planner/Scheduler in the Oil & Gas industry.
Working in the Oil & Gas industry for 30 years.
Worked for, Exxon Mobil, Shell, PDVSA, Chevron, Dow Chemicals.
Reviewing construction planning and schedules, and provide advise for optimizing.
Working outside with sub-contractors, monitoring progress, and compare against reported progress.
Compare progress against base line schedule, and solve critical path, bottle necks.
Working close with the Main Contractor, Sub Contractors, and Procurement to flag bottle neck, and to achieve the project scheduled end dates.
Responsibilities:
Managing a 35-person workforce, and accommodated weekly progress meetings with field and main office via Zoom to discuss progress, earned, burned, remaining hours, with cost control and management. Working with Procurement to flag long lead items, and possible expediting solutions
Controlled the overall master schedule, and providing (on a weekly basis) current progress schedules, manpower loading histograms, earned, burned, remaining hours S-curves, critical and longest path projections, recovery schedules.
Review hand out dates of IFC drawings for completion and correct revision into the schedule.
