Petroleum Engineer with 31 years’ experience (Nigeria, Europe, Middle East), in clastic & carbonate reservoirs. Delivered Production Technology contributions to successful FR & FDP of 4 fields in Niger Delta. Coordinated re-entry of brown and Green field FDP revalidation. Completed 1st oil well with HWU in offshore, Nigeria.

Successfully championed/ managed Rig and Rigless production optimization efforts through problem well analysis and WRFM, from candidates selection to execution in carbonate and Sandstone reservoirs for different activities. Optimized oil production through Water shut-off (WSO), Integrity Repairs, Recompletion, Stimulation, Scale/wax treatment, Zone change, Sand Control, Corrosion monitoring, N2 lift/ production restoration, Gas wells de-liquification, Flow assurance and other Production optimization initiatives. Reviewed Rig programs/ monitored operations to ensure compliance.

Possesses expert knowledge of Production well tests and validation to ensure proper allocation. Collaborated with production operations staff, drilling and front end engineers for successful operations, facility upgrades/ expansion, for Rig operations, for well tests/ allocation. Managed water injection/ water flooding and Gas injection projects. Functioned as Focal point for Well integrity management, implemented WIMS, functioned as cross-discipline change management (MOC) and KPI focal point.

Maximized production/ cashflow/ NPV from Brown fields by proactively seeking opportunities to unlock potentials through well surveillance, Artificial Lift management, Gaslift and ESP design/ optimization, well intervention (Workovers/ Rigless - CTU, W/L) with focus on reduction of cost & reduce deferment.

Supported cost reduction through robust project costing, provided/challenged AFE well cost and well Economics (NPV, cash flow profile, pay out period etc). Coordinated /documented Best practices and standard procedures for Well Management, wellwork, post job reviews/ tracking method etc, resulting in manhour savings. Dept: Technical Position: Short Term Oil Generation Manager/ Senior Production Technologist.

Key Activities:

Stewarded ESP application to develop 50 MMbbls reserves with 35 Mbopd added potential.

Successfully led project to manage/ reduced flare by 3 MMscf/d and negative environmental effect.

Stewarded concept selection of completion design of shallow offshore Green field Oil wells.

APM data analysis and Well integrity management/ repair design for HCHP wells (Ann #1/2/Tubing).

Managed STOG project which increased production by 12,000 bopd in 1 month with $0.8M saving.

2). Qatar Petroleum, Doha. Qatar (February 2007 - July 2020)

Dept: Operated Onshore Oil Field Development Position: Lead/Senior Petroleum Engineer (TA2).

Provided technically sound P.T contributions and actively participated in integrated well planning. Followed-up daily Rig operations. Collaborated with Operations to safely put online/ flow back/ test new wells (10/yr), validate test data, and delivered 1,500 bopd/well (7.2 MMbbls oil Reserves).

Actively managed Completion Design of 120 wells, Water flooding & Gas Recycling project.

Conducted detailed review of PWI wells stimulation and developed a statistical model to identify stimulation candidates/ successful jobs. Identified candidates that generated 800 bopd oil gain.

Developed maintained PROSPER IPM well models for 8 new wells yearly until well is matured.

Carried out Gaslift design/ optimization (FBHP, CO2 Tracer) & documented best practice.
