Ensure all modifications and changes are documented, control of material, material identifications as per requirements and compared to various codes standards, visual inspections of materials, (materials include: welding consumables, Steel: plates, pipes, flanges, domes, dish-ends, weldolets, can-section, stainless steel, carbon steel, etc. Forgings and Castings). Control of NDT (Non-destructive Testing) and DT (Destructive Testing) reports, as well as NDT / DT requests, ensure all necessary equipment is up to date with calibration dates.
Welding Procedure Qualification, Welder Qualification, ensure quality before, during and after welding, Dimensional inspections with various kinds of tools, Pressure Testing Hydrostatic and Pneumatic. Control on NCRs as well as ensure all documentation is up to date.
Involved in the Quality Audits. These duties are performed in a Petrochemical
(Oil and Gas) Refinery, on various equipment: vessels under pressure, steam
generated boilers, high pressure and low-pressure piping, heat exchangers,
tanks, drums, entry and non-entry vessels, etc.
