I am an astute practicing counseling provider with 10 years’ experience. As an accredited member of the Kenya Counselors Psychologists Association and Kenya government counselors and Psychologists board, have extensive experience providing psychosocial support to clients who are on care especially on status self acceptance and adherence to medications. I have empowered individuals and communities on conflict resolution,gender based violence and mediation services. I have used creative psychotherapeutic techniques to equip families through family therapies, children and adults grappling with burnout across various community settings during the COVID-19 pandemic, and learners in order to optimize their academic and holistic development. Additionally, I have directed psychoeducation forums on drugs and substance use among the youths and communities, aired conversations on media stations, hosted workshops, conducted community outreach, and worked in community, schools, children home and church settings. I have led formidable partnerships such as with Macheo Children’s Home in integrating mental health training in their child care programs, to which end I earned an honorary Long Service award in the year 2022.
