Objective
I am a qualified inspirational teacher with 1 year teaching experience acquired while in teaching field as junior teacher specialising in mathematics and science. I’m passionate with teaching and also committed to raisings the standards and interests of students to acquire knowledge, skills and good understanding of subject matter.

I did my teaching practice at Botha Bothe High school in the year 2014 where I was teaching grade 8 and 9 biology, chemistry and mathematics. My responsibilities were as follows:
Partnered with the lead teacher to plan and implement lessons following school curriculum objectives and goals by choosing suitable teaching material and methods which sustain memorandum of student’s work to keep them engaged throughout the lesson by stimulating their curiosity, communication and enthusiasm for the topic being taught.
Overseeing students in classroom and common areas to monitor, enforce rules and supporting the lead teacher.
Supported student’s objectives through personalized and small group assistance.
Used behaviour modelling and specialized teaching techniques to share and reinforce social skills
I was also responsible for giving attention to student’s misconceptions and helping to remedy them.
Listened carefully to students analysing their responses and responded constructively to take their learning forward.
Gave support to school’s aims, agreed teaching methods and other school policies.
Fulfilled all the reasonable tasks as directed by the head teacher.
KEY ACHIEVEMENT
Implemented new classroom management which incorporated motivational activities and positive reinforcement resulting in 10% reduction in negative behaviour.
Introduced the concept “circle time” which successfully Increased learner’s confidence and ability to talk infront of the class.This was highly recommended by the head teacher and since been implemented in other year groups
