Recruited by BAE Systems as a Special Project Sr. Systems Administrator assigned to Guantanamo Bay Naval Station Information Systems Department. Functioned in a Special Project capacity to support current Server 2012 environment as well as rebuild and restore SCCM Server operations. Built and configured SQL Server 2012 and Microsoft SCCM 2012 Software Deployment Server using VMWare ESXi5.0 and 6..0.Created and administered all Server 2012; SQL Server 2012 as well as SCCM Server 2012 VMWare machines within the VMSpare Admin Tool feature.

Facilitated base wide software deployments to over 530 GTMO workstations. Within SCCM Server 2012 created extensive software libraries consisting of software packages, applications, and task sequences specific to the needs of the particular software SCCM deployment recommendations. SCCM Deployment included, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Updates, Mozilla Firefox and Chrome Browser along with utilizing batch and power shell scripts. Successfully deployed over a dozen (12+) software projects to over 500+ workstations amounting to approximately over 2,000 successful deployment tasks.

In addition, provided support to Sr and Jr. Systems Administrators as well as to Help Desk Staff from Tier 1 to Tier 2 and 3 during understaffing and ISD Special Projects requirements. Supported Cyber Security Staff using Tenable ACAS Scanner to mitigate Windows 10 Workstation Vulnerabilities. Administered Active Directory Services troubleshooting user accounts as well as new user creation; creation of Security and Distribution Groups. Created and administered Network Share Folder and permissions. Provided direct support for 401st AFSBn Commander's Group. Maintained and supporedt Remedy ticket system to facilitate a timely turnaround in all Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting tasks.

Accomplishments

During a sudden and abrupt reduction in S6 contact personnel provided a high level continued support at home base within the Afghanistan theatre as well as was acting S6 Lead at another key site. Worked directly with base Commander to not only restore faith in the S6 Help Desk contractor support but to bring the S6 Helpdesk back to a high productive and visible support to military, civilians, and contractor personnel.
