(Procurement Engineer)

• Assists Requestor in the preparation of MMR Creation and Change Requests.

• Review and approve QA Level 1, 1F, 2, 2AC, 3 MMR Creation and Change Requests

• Reviews and approves QL-3 Commercial Grade Dedication a Material Master Record (MRR) Creation and Change requests for material commercially grade dedicated to QL-1 and material upgraded to support QL-1F applications.

• Review and approve Purchase Requisitions (PQR) and PQR as necessary to clarify technical or quality requirements, initiate or remove holds on Receipt Inspection process, resolve technical bid exceptions.

• Review and approve QL-3 Safe-By-Design MMR creation and change requests to ensure proper Criticality Safety and Engineering reviews have occurred.

• Ensure all applicable documentation is attached to the PRQ and that item descriptions are correct.

• Development, review and sign-off of completed Quality Inspection Plans (QIP’s) for the receipt and final verification testing of CGD plans for the U1a UCEP underground complex.

• Resolve receipt inspection and/or CGD discrepancies for material associated with the U1a UCEP underground complex.

• Responsible for the development of a Functional Classification Documentation (FCD) of material/equipment associated with the U1a UCEP underground complex if there is not current FCD or perform a Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to establish the safety classification.

• Review 3rd party CGD plans to verify all required Critical Characteristic Attributes (CCA’s) associated with its end- use safety function will be verified.

• Served as a Procurement Engineering Representative on Integrated Project Teams for multiple LANL Capital Projects.

• In addition, provided helper services in moving equipment, tools, setting up and taking down radiation barriers, string lighting and other duties as needed to support the maintenance and refuel outage work.
