SUMMARY

I have acquired a sound overall knowledge of maintainability and reliability principles through my education and career. My experience and education have prepared me for this position because it requires initiative, self-motivation, and leadership skills. As a reliability engineer, I created the reliability team and introduced and trained RCM classes and tools like FMEA, RCA, Criticality analysis, and Predictive technologies. I have worked on a vast number of equipment, including Pumps, Air and Ammonia Compressors, Cooling Towers, Centrifuges, Pressure Vessel, Heat Exchanger, Storage Tank, Reactors, Separators, Scrubbers, Deaerator, Accumulators, Steam Generators, Shell and Tube Heat exchangers, Dryers, Crystallizers, Cyclones, Evaporators, Rotary Dryers, Silos, Fluidized Beds, Reactors, Plate Heat Exchangers, to mention a few.

Global Reliability Engineer Archer Daniels Midland, Remote 7/2022 – Present

•Focused on improving plant reliability by analyzing bad actors and equipment issues through failure analysis and zero-loss methodology.

•Proactive approach to new equipment installations by incorporating reliability into the design and supporting the commissioning of new equipment.

•Safely perform duties, utilizing all safety equipment and completing all safety certification requirements.

•I created and trained a team of 10 reliability technicians. I also planned, monitored, and supervised their work assignments.

•Drove equipment reliability through vibration analysis, oil analysis, and precision maintenance for pumps and steam trap programs, which led to cost avoidance projects of over $1000,000.

•Updated PM scopes and frequencies, combined PMs, and eliminated 1000 hours of non-value-added work.

•Improved preventive maintenance proficiency from 75% to 95% and reduced equipment downtime by 10%.

•Reduced spare part inventory by 5%, resulting in savings of over $300,000.
