The World Bank Supported Zambia Education Enhancement Project

• The Government of the Republic of Zambia was received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank Group to support the implementation of the Zambia Education Enhancement Project (ZEEP). The Ministry of Education (Ministry) is the implementing agency of the Project. The Project Development Objective (PDO) of ZEEP is to improve the quality of teaching and learning conditions in targeted Primary and Secondary Schools and to increase access to secondary education focusing on girls. One of the components of the project seeks to increase access to secondary education through the construction of 120 Day and Weekly Boarding Secondary Schools across all the ten (10) Provinces of Zambia.

• To supervise effectively and management of safety in order to create a conducive and health environment
