Process Medicare Part D or commercial appeal requests, ensuring that requests are correctly categorized as appeals and all deadlines are met.

Create explanations of coverage for providers and generate an appeal entry in clinical processing system. Identify when company is and is not delegated to process commercial appeals, and communicate appropriate course of action to providers.

Prepare prior authorizations for denied and appeals sent in from doctor office's and pharmacies'.

Inform members of appeal determinations via both verbal communication and appropriate written notification

Assists in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure

Assists in monthly fills by delivering and exchanging medications to scheduled nursing home

Applies labels, and stack boxes according to directions

Entered translated prescription information into computer system

Took inventory of over-the-counter medications.

Daily data entry for insurance billing.

Completing cash register transactions.

Works directly with foundations, grants, and manufacturers to ensure all necessary documentation for submission is provided, including but not limited to medical records, demographic information, and recovery paperwork.
