Managed, directed, and led teams for Operational Risk, Economic Risk, and PNC Enterprise Loan Originations departments including, Indirect and Direct Auto Lending, Small Business Lending, Consumer Unsecured Installment Lending, Consumer Lines of Credit, and Wealth Loans. This includes Servicing and Default as well.
• Spearheaded the initiative and the teams, with the internal business clients, to move Indirect Auto Lending to eContracting with RouteOne and DealerTrack allowing for near instantaneous turn around to the external consumer, increasing the efficiency ratio by approximately twenty-five (25) percent and decreasing input errors by almost seventy five (75) percent.
• Led Loan Originations team for the $11.6 billion BBVA Merger in 2020. The implementation required the integration of all BBVA products deemed to be added to PNC systems. The implementation for Originations was one of the first to go live and was installed with 100% accuracy for internal and external clients.
• Anticipated the need for and architected PNC's Digital Unsecured Installment Loan product which has generated over
$500M in loan volume.
• Directed development teams to architect Auto Lending solution that allowed for the quick and efficient integration of third parties such as CarSaver and Carvana so that the addition of new partners would follow an off the shelf approach.
• Developed and led IT department budget negotiations with internal business units and peer IT departments for IT Risk Analytics department.
• Established Strategic Partnership with Oracle Corporation to develop the global Operational Risk Management Software product map. As one of the only two financial institutions to adopt and install the platform, worked hand in hand with senior management from the business and technology areas for both companies in developing product features and enhancements on an ongoing basis allowing Oracle to further broaden their customer base.
• Directed project team consisting of managers, project managers, developers, business analysts, quality assurance testers, and business users that implemented the Operational Risk Management Technology platform for entire enterprise which enable the tracking of, and regulatory reporting, for all areas of Operational Risk Management including direct P/L minimization of monetary losses.
• Supervised the installation and maintenance of the Enterprise Economic Capital Risk Management system that monitored and predicted macroeconomic risk factors. This critical system was utilized in the determination of the liquidity position for the enterprise, as well as providing data for the required OCC annual Capital Planning and Stress Testing exercises.
• Guided large cross IT teams for initiative to modernize the enterprise Loan Originations technology stack. This required the analysis, architectural and application designs for both hardware and software ensuring the inclusion of upgraded security, SRE concepts, server redundancy, high availability, and near real time disaster recovery.
