I oversee all the Accounting for a two million dollars a year newspaper, which includes Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll. A long with overseeing the Advertising Department. I am also the Treasurer for the non-profit Foundation we have.

I took care of all my clients from doing the books for them, to preparing Tax Returns.
I helped many of my small clients to help them to improve the way they run their business to help them improve their profit. I setup up budgets for most of my clients, 75% of my clients I did their payroll for them, which included taking care of their workers compensation and filing all their tax forms such as quarterly 941 their yearend 940, their w-2’s and all EDD forms. For 50% of my clients, I prepared their 1120 and 1120S or their 1065. I had many clients who we did their 1040’s for them. I meet at least quarterly with most of my clients’ others I meet monthly.

I oversaw all the accounting functions for the company. We were a Property Management company, and I oversaw all the Trust Accounts for the HOA'S we managed, along with the other properties we had in our portfolio. I made sure that ALL the monthly billings were sent out, along with all the rents being collected each month. I made sure that all bills were paid on a timely basis, so we were never late for our clients. We got the business due to the fact; I made sure all bills were paid on time, some of the clients came to us because of their terrible experience with other firms.

I oversaw all the accounting for the construction projects we were building for Senior Housing. Dealt with the bank regarding the Construction Loan Draws. I oversaw all the payroll and HR for the company, along with all the workers’ compensation and federal filing for low-income senior housing.

I started out as the Traveling Auditor, then I was promoted to Supervisor of the Auditors. Then to the Accounting Manager. Then to the Controller-Office Manager, when we opened an office in Santa Ana. I had to hire all the employees for the office in Santa Ana along with setting up the operation and office. I oversaw all the Accounting for the company we had many large Residential Properties, along with Commercial Properties. With the Commercial Properties we had lots of CAM billing I had to review.
