1. Uganda Certificate of Education issued by the Uganda National Examinations Board listing nine passes following the Uganda Certificate of Education Examination of November/December 1996. This is equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma;

2. Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education issued by the Uganda National Examinations Board listing subjects and grades received at the Principal and Subsidiary Level during the examinations of November/December 1998. Subjects passed at the Principal level may be considered for advanced standing credit as follows:

Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (Second Class – Upper Division) awarded by Makerere University on January 18, 2011;

5. Academic Transcript issued by Makerere University listing courses and grades for one year of graduate- level study (2008-2009) towards the above diploma. The above documents were received electronically from the applicant. Makerere University is an accredited institution in U.S. terms and requires for admission completion of the full primary/secondary school sequence and the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education or its equivalent. It offers a three-year Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences that, together with the required Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education and is equivalent to the corresponding U.S. Bachelor’s degree. To holders of a first degree, Makerere University offers a one-year program of study towards the Post-Graduate Diploma in Education. This is equivalent to one year of U.S. graduate level study in Education. Based on the above information, it can be concluded that he has the equivalent of a high school diploma with 24 semester hours of advanced standing credit from a regionally accredited U.S. high school as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences and one year of graduate-level study in Education from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university.
