I have many years and various experiences in electronics.

For repair & quality, I set up many repairs SVC projects to LG LCD and Samsung laser printers as customer account manager in Louisville, Kentucky and Global Repair Quality Manager in Columbus, OH. Main roles are as follows. Operate repair SVC and lead the repair quality and perform SOP, FMEA, & CAPA to high volume products and field returned defective units. Set up and operate software programs to make zero defects and trained engineers & techs for NPI. Create various quality reports like 8D, KPI, ISO related reports. Of course, there should be excellent communications with multinational teams and customers directly. Audit to repair lines in multi-nations facilities and manage RMA for warranty defectives as well. Recently, I had dental chair installations and repair, which have hydraulic system and pneumatic turbine device.

For production, my experiences were belonged to test & debug to the various electronic devices like medical, military, AV, and broadcasting products and responsibilities are to set up test bench and programs and repair PCBA. Also, support the production plans daily basis and parts ordering and make working ordering instruction. Analyze and improve the productivity for all production process with SPC & 6 sigma. Also, I was a technical support engineer to Compaq, HP, Dell from 1998 to 2004 in Houston, TX and there were always installation and matching tests with commercial (SERVER) or consumer computer (Desktop & Laptop] systems including functional, electrical, mechanical including vibration & drop & shock, safety, regulation, and environmental tests like EMC. That’s why I grasped these high levels tests and have been provided better solutions to all engineering issues.

For R&D and design, I had developed Audio & Video CD-player with MEPG and DVD-ROM as engineer and team leader and director. As results, I am familiar to Analogue circuit design for Power & Filters & Amp & Noise reduction and Digital circuit designs to Logic & Sequences, verifying safety & reliability of circuit diagrams to WCCA, Multi-layer PCB Design, debugging of software, leading proto-type and mass production projects, cost analysis, and major component suppliers’ managements. Also, fixed and provide solutions to environmental tests issues for EMI, ESD, Shock & Vib & drop, Audio Noise, High & Low temperature storage tests with humidity conditions in considering of UL, CE, FCC, KS regulations. Create conceptual documents, cost analysis, roadmap, specifications, test items, launching schedules. Co-developed major components and IC (DSP, Micro controller) with multi-national suppliers and familiar with many hardware tools, measurement devices, various electrical signal analysis equipment.

For lasers, my major is excimer laser when I was studied in graduate school. Especially, it was gas-based lasers (KrF & N2). That’s why I familiar with gas laser principles and generally used optics. Also, I developed the optical disk driver for 10+ years like CD-ROM and DVD-ROM which has semi-conductor lasers and optical pick-up. So, I have lots of skills and safety regulations and technical information for the laser characteristics. Besides, I had a field service-related job recently to install and repair for the dental medical devices including dental chair which has hydraulic motor-based products and CBCT which can make X-ray radiations. I believe that these experiences will be better to apply this position.
