(CMA) certification, Carlton is equipped with diverse qualifications and over twenty years of experience in various disciplines.
Carlton's career commenced in the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, where his substantive rank before retiring was a Police Corporal. Subsequently, his professional journey expanded, accumulating varied experiences and expertise as a member of the Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago. He notably contributed to the Trinidad and Tobago Judiciary’s High-Performance Strategy Group and Performance Measurement Group, focusing on transforming the organization into a High-Performance Professional Judiciary. During this period, Carlton honed his skills in developing change-management policies and initiatives, business process reengineering, and strategic management and planning.
