Professional Profile
I have twenty three years’ experience working in Finance and Administration in different sectors including Production & Retailing, Transport sector and the Non Governmental sector (NGO) Sector. I have expertise in areas of human resources management, logistics, administration management, credit management and accounting. My financial experience has been seasoned with practice since 1993 to date. I have helped develop financial training curriculum for the leadership training programmes (human rights).
I am currently the Finance and Administration manager responsible for managing the finance and project grants of the organisation for four years, I have managed programme budgets and been responsible for donor financial reporting (compliance). Managing and coordinating a number of HIV and human rights advocacy initiatives, responsible for creation and maintainance of strategic partnerships for the organization as well as attending high level meetings with key stakeholders nationally,regionally and internationally. Before that, I was the Administrationand Accounting manager for ten years, managing a fleet of ten trucks, managing administration and client contracts as well as accounting functions up to the balance sheet.

Responsibilities
Main duties
Prepare funding and annual budgets for GALZ programmes
Develop and implement a support service delivery plan for the efficient and timeous implementation of GALZ programmes
Coordinate and oversee the procurement of all requirements for implementation of programmes and the running of GALZ
Organize all Secretariat meetings and meetings of the Board and its sub-committees
Ensure the efficient, transparent and accurate accounting of all resources provided for GALZ ensuring value for money in all transactions
Prepare for the annual external audit and ensure the audit is done timeously
Ensure full compliance with all statutory regulations for the GALZ organisation at all times especially remittances to ZIMRA and staff benefits
Develop and update the system of internal controls mainly through financial and administrative policies and procedures to achieve a high level of accountability in the management of the GALZ organisation
Produce regular reports on the finance and administration functions of GALZ for the Director
Supervise the work of all administration and finance staff (Admin Assistant, Bookkeeper, security officers and caretakers) and monitor their performance regularly
