Assistance with patients comfort, including repositioning, preventing skin breakdowns. Medication reminders, charting vitals, spO2, IP and OP and reported directly to RN with any concerns or changes in patients condition. Was with patient 24/7 providing palliative and compassionate care during her terminal stage of lung cancer until passing of Patient.
I also took care of Dean Schoenborn the only son to the Schoenborn family. He was an amputee right leg. Diagnosis was Charcot to the patients right extremity. I provided transportation to and from patient’s doctors appointments. Assistance with transfers, showers, wound care and dressings, colostomy care, taking and recording vitals, medication reminders, pill box and refills, occupational therapy assistance as prescribed by therapist, taking and recording vitals and reporting any changes in patient’s condition to nursing staff and doctors. Provided mental support and kept patient safe, comfortable and happy. Patient found decreased, June of 2022.
