My name is Jeffrey Daniel. I am a career oriented professional ready to put my skills to the test at my next opportunity.
Most people would probably describe me as caring, hard-working, consistent, passionate, compassionate, punctual and someone that strives for excellence at all times. I enjoy teaching, training and helping people and find it very rewarding to pass on my knowledge and skills to others. I am a natural leader and will not hesitate to take initiative and lead the way. In my free time, I enjoy gardening at home, reading, writing, spending time with family, traveling, going for long walks, camping and pretty much anything outdoors. I also love to do volunteer work whenever time permits.
In 2006 at fifteen years old I got my first job at BHT McDonalds. I stayed there for most of the past eighteen years during which I held both crew and eventually management positions in both FOH/service and BOH/kitchen. During the last two and a half years of my time with BHT McDonald's I held the title of Kitchen Manager at the McDonald's on Nash Street in Wilson, N.C. in January of 2024, however, I did make the decision to leave BHT McDonald's as I no longer felt it was the best place for me to grow professionally and put my skills and talents to good use. I also didn't feel the atmosphere there was one that inspired employees to be the best they can be. You should also know that in 2011 myself and my then business partner developed a door-to-door sales business based in Rocky Mount, N.C. We manufactured and sold the reflective address signs that you see on mailbox posts. This business was very successful until we eventually ran out of local territory. However, during the seven plus years that I co-operated this business, I developed and built upon many valuable vocational skills such as effective communication, hospitality/customer service, patience, consistency, business management/ leadership skills, punctuality, persistence and many others. I am naturally a very passionate and compassionate person and I strive to always find the good in people. I also consider myself a natural leader as I will not hesitate to take initiative and lead the way at every presented opportunity. Currently, I am a shift manager at the newly opened "Burrito Shak" restaurant here in Wilson, N.C. I have been with them since they opened in March of 2024. Although I have really enjoyed my time working here, I don't feel my role there allows me to be all I can be or to use the knowledge and professional skills that I've acquired over the years effectively. The next company that I join will hopefully put my skills to the test while being more focused on investing in dedicated, hard-working employees and offer more room for growth in a safe, positive and professional environment. I am looking for that special place that I see myself building with until retirement.
