Enforce HSSEMS procedure to comply at work site.

Inspects the worksite to ensure hazard-free and safe environment for work.

Ensure area supervisors conduct daily tool box / STA meeting with all work groups.

Ensuring PTW, JSA, Risk Assessment and all relevant documents obtained before starting of the task.

Ensuring provision and use of appropriate PPE and right tools for the particular job.

Conduct daily inspection of jobsites, any unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and potential hazard identified and advice mitigations through HSE observation report to the responsible engineer

/ supervisor for immediate corrective action.

Preventing Injuries to personnel, damage to plant and equipment, etc., by controlling hazards and suggesting mitigations / remedial action.

Ensuring use of appropriate fall protection when working at elevated areas.

Ensuring appropriate precautions to be taken while deep excavations, elevated work platforms, confined space, hot work, lifting operations, work at height and hot works etc.

Inspect equipment’s third-party certificates to ensure validation & safe for use.

Verify that Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are maintained and communicated to workforce.

Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate, periodically inspected and color coded.

Verify that first-aid and emergency procedures are in place.

Ensuring Waste Management System implementation for safe disposal and maintain daily housekeeping.

Ensuring to provision of welfare facilities are available at site and well maintained.

Promotes safe work practices at the job site and take disciplinary action against violations.

Guides / advises and informs line management on issues related to HSE violations from time to time, in line with KOC HSSEMS procedures / practices.

Participating in weekly safety walk around with client, company and contractor’s managers, recommend corrective measures of noncompliance to HSEMS and follow-up.

Coordinating and participating in emergency mock drills.

Participates in Risk Assessment of critical activities. Continuously monitors and ensures implementation of mitigation measures as per the Risk Assessment for critical tasks.
