To utilize my experience, education, and expertise in engineering and environmental science to support land development as a designer, leader, and mentor for a land development company. Current Position

Civil Information Modeling Coordinator (2023 – 2025) US Army Corps of Engineers Middle East District Winchester, Virginia (remote position) Engineering Division, Advanced Modeling Team Duties and Responsibilities:

• Civil 3D Designer for land development in civil, structural, and mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and telecommunication infrastructure on US Military installations and US foreign military partner installations in the US Central Command Area of Operations.

• Lead for Civil Information Modeling coordination, processes, training, design reviews, and drawing submittals.

• Prepares and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Civil Information Modeling, Civil Information Model Reviews, Civil Information Model Take-offs, Construction drawing reviews, Construction drawing PDF Assembly.

• Prepares Civil Information Modeling lunch and learn presentations for the Engineering Division and others.

• Mentors Engineering Division employees in Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.

• Assists with facility design disciplines include structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and telecommunications.

• Enforces CAD and Graphics Standards by utilizing direct communication and quality control systems to review and comment on drawings to ensure compliance with all applicable standards.

• Manages and updates Civil 3D Imperial and Metric Templates.

• Manages Project Execution Plans and attends and participates in Project Delivery Team meetings.

• Troubleshoots various software applications for engineers, architects, and other team members. Military Airfield Development Projects:

• Civil 3D surface models and construction drawings for Apache Alert Mission Squadron Operations Facility, Kuwait, US Central Command.

• Civil 3D surface models and construction drawings for a US military installation airfield repair, Jordan, US Central Command.

• Civil 3D electrical infrastructure and substation design for a US military airfield, Bahrain, US Central Command.

• Civil 3D electrical infrastructure and hangar and apron improvements for a US military airfield, UAE, US Central Command.

• Civil 3D sheet and sheet set manager development for a proposed CH-47 hangar, operations facility, fueling station, missile storage, and ready alert aprons for a US military airfield, Egypt, US Central Command.

• Reviews of plans for proposed airfield improvements for C-130 use in Lebanon, proposed airfield lighting and signage replacement in Kuwait, and airfield expansion and improvements for an F-22 squadron in UAE, US Central Command. Military Airfield Facility Design Projects:

• AutoCAD Architectural floor plan design for a Missile Assembly Disassembly Facility (MADF) at a US military airfield, Kuwait, US Central Command.

• AutoCAD Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical floor plan design and details for an Alert Magazine / Ammunition Storage at a US military airfield, Kuwait, US Central Command.

• Reviews of proposed military installation and airfield expansion with facilities for F-16 Fighter Jets in UAE, proposed Hardened Alert Aircraft Shelter (HAAS) design for F-14 Fighter Jets in Bahrain, and proposed Air Traffic Control Tower replacement on an existing airfield in Jordan.

• Led the Civil3D Team in monthly meetings to coordinate and share new information and foster cooperation and adherence to CAD Standards, improving efficiency, and establishing routines and methods to be used for various CAD operations.

• Developed construction drawings for multiple land development projects for civil, mechanical, architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines using Bentley Microstation InRoads, AutoDesk Civil 3D, and AutoDesk AutoCAD.

• Prepared quantity take-offs for cost engineers and interpretive maps for project management meetings and site visits

• Designed projects in Civil 3D for river and stream channel modifications and improvements for flood risk management.

• Designed projects in Civil 3D and Microstation for earthen dam repair in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.

• Designed projects in Civil 3D and Microstation for navigation channel dredging for the NC State Ports Authority, US Coast Guard, and NC DOT Ferry Division, and Military Installations Marine Corps Camp Lejeune and Army Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point.

• Engineering calculations in Civil 3D for 30 miles of the Cape Fear River for widening and deepening studies for anticipated arrival of larger shipping container vessels.

• Designed projects in Civil 3D and Microstation for dredge spoil area management in North Carolina and South Carolina.

• Designed projects in US Military Installations Fort Bragg and Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point for site improvements, road improvements, and wharf facilities.

• Created an AutoCAD 3D model of Philpott Dam, Virginia for a crack mapping study by structural engineers.
