Civil Information Modeling Coordinator (2023 – 2025) US Army Corps of Engineers Middle East District Winchester, Virginia (remote position) Engineering Division, Advanced Modeling Team Duties and Responsibilities:
• Civil 3D Designer for land development in civil, structural, and mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and telecommunication infrastructure on US Military installations and US foreign military partner installations in the US Central Command Area of Operations.
• Lead for Civil Information Modeling coordination, processes, training, design reviews, and drawing submittals.
• Prepares and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Civil Information Modeling, Civil Information Model Reviews, Civil Information Model Take-offs, Construction drawing reviews, Construction drawing PDF Assembly.
• Prepares Civil Information Modeling lunch and learn presentations for the Engineering Division and others.
• Mentors Engineering Division employees in Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
• Assists with facility design disciplines include structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and telecommunications.
• Enforces CAD and Graphics Standards by utilizing direct communication and quality control systems to review and comment on drawings to ensure compliance with all applicable standards.
• Manages and updates Civil 3D Imperial and Metric Templates.
• Manages Project Execution Plans and attends and participates in Project Delivery Team meetings.
• Troubleshoots various software applications for engineers, architects, and other team members. Military Airfield Development Projects:
• Civil 3D surface models and construction drawings for Apache Alert Mission Squadron Operations Facility, Kuwait, US Central Command.
• Civil 3D surface models and construction drawings for a US military installation airfield repair, Jordan, US Central Command.
• Civil 3D electrical infrastructure and substation design for a US military airfield, Bahrain, US Central Command.
• Civil 3D electrical infrastructure and hangar and apron improvements for a US military airfield, UAE, US Central Command.
• Civil 3D sheet and sheet set manager development for a proposed CH-47 hangar, operations facility, fueling station, missile storage, and ready alert aprons for a US military airfield, Egypt, US Central Command.

• Reviews of proposed military installation and airfield expansion with facilities for F-16 Fighter Jets in UAE, proposed Hardened Alert Aircraft Shelter (HAAS) design for F-14 Fighter Jets in Bahrain, and proposed Air Traffic Control Tower replacement on an existing airfield in Jordan.
