• The robot is designed to deliver orders directly to individual hotel rooms, controlled via a web interface written in HTML. Utilizing ROS for navigation, it autonomously reaches the designated locations while skillfully avoiding obstacles along the way. Member • 3 members.

Position • Programmer.

Role

• Hardware setup and integration: Assembling and connecting the robot's hardware components, including Raspberry, STM32F407, Lidar, CP2102, DC encoder motors, BTS7960, buttons, and necessary sensors.

• Simulation: Simulating Matlab with Simulink and code to control motors and calculating kinematic equations.

• Motor: Programming STM32F407 to control them with PID and an IIR filter to smooth the controlling signal.

• SLAM implementation: Using SLAM_Gmapping, navigation, and turtlebot3_model for 2D mapping, localization, and navigation, the system creates an autonomous 2D map of the surrounding environment. Using the Dijkstra's algorithm to generate a global path and the DWA's algorithm to generate a local path and avoid obstacles along the way.

• Communication: Using Rosserial-python to communicate between Raspberry and STM32 via CP2102.

• Linux: Programming Raspberry Pi4 to run Linux OS and some ROS packages.

• Website: Transferring data from an interactive website to a database with MySQL
