Single Family Analytics Intern
Analyzed and visualized seller risk and loan performance utilizing robust variety of metrics for Analytics, Reporting, & Technology team
Utilized Tableau & SQL to build quantitative metrics to base seller risk and loan performance ranking top sellers across three periods (pre, during, post pandemic).
Developed and presented Tableau dashboard to head of Single Family division and leadership team of loan analysis for top sellers by volume encapsulating credit box metrics, loan performance, & affordable buyer goals.
Created innovative dashboard illustrating performance for top seller before, during, and after pandemic. Equipped team to make appropriate responses to correct sellers during post pandemic recovery. Projects
ISN’T THAT CINEMATIC?: AN IN DEPTH LOOK AT BOX OFFICE TRENDS Blog post on 20-year trend of domestic box office films examining box office performance trends over time accounting for market shifts
Formed forward-thinking insights grounded in robust data-based analysis concluding that blockbuster box office performance remain unchanged while non box office film performance noticeable affected by streaming and non-theatrical distribution flows.
Analyzed ~10,000 films of data over 20 years, building dataset encapsulating variables for performance
(gross & tickets sold), studio, and genre. Defined and separated “blockbusters”, enabling trend analysis at highest performance level.
Utilized individual regression analysis to find specific changes respective to each genre. Presented both visually and tabularly. Developed measure of market share at both studio and genre level allowing observation on how market has shifted over frame of data.

NEW MEXICO FIVE YEAR ECONOMIC FORECAST
Developed a 5 year (2024-2029) economic forecast for New Mexico non-farm payroll employment.
Used national forecast as a basis, applied national trends in employment and inflation as well as Fed policies to determine macro effects on state outlook.
Combined national outlook with research of state industries, features, and economic characteristics to determine foundational forces.
Ran tests to determine stationariness and one step ahead forecasts on test data to develop an ARIMA model to predict non-farm payroll employment across five years.
Determined impact on state economy by key industries and macro risks and dependencies. 2024 Q4 ECONOMIC TEAL BOOK
Create guide for crafting monetary policy based on economic outlook and forecast.
Research across multiple key industries (i.e. housing, oil, etc.) and a national economic forecast employed to determine short and long term outlook for economy.
Developed several monetary policy routes which consider inherent risks and uncertainties.
Compare and contrast available options. Applied available information to form and defend a concise, data-driven recommendation.
Additional R-coding based projects within causal analysis (random experiments, regression discontinuity, diff-in-diff) and machine learning spaces (prediction & classification) with supervised learning algorithms
(lasso, ridge, elastinet, decision trees, random forests) Papers
INBOUND FDI ON HOST NATION’S DEVELOPMENTAL INDICATORS An empirical analysis across 30+ years on the effects of inbound foreign direct investment on a set of host nation developmental outcomes. Differentiated outcomes for developing versus developed host nations, making observable developmental based effects of inbound investment. POTENTIAL FACTORS ON MODERN TRADE OF AUDIOVISUAL & INTERACTIVE MEDIA GOODS Analyzed trade levels across 15+ years of cultural goods and examined association between measures of wealth, literacy, & digital connectedness. Conducted extensive literature review to develop “rules” of digital cultural goods based on lateral research findings.
Compiled, combined, & built robust datasets using multiple data streams. 150+ nations worth of data encapsulating trade flows and multiple variables of interest.
Developed multiple regression (linear & logistic) models to determine significant associations.
Presented findings with visual plots & tables to highlight key findings for non-technical audiences. Education
