I have worked diligently in the Autobody and Painting industry for 29 years, both on the technical side but also the sales, motivational speaking, management, training, leadership and consultation. Contributed to the Polymer floor coating industry creating innovative installation procedures for Epoxies, Polyesters, Aliphatic, Polyurea, Polyaspartics, Urethanes, and Methyl Methacrylate. I have also been blessed to share my knowledge of preservative coatings in the industrial transportation market.

Maaco Auto Painting & Body Works - February 1979, May 1986: Structural collision repairs, restorative body repairs Maaco Enterprises - May 1986, December 1999: Began tenure as a Franchise Field Representative opened 43 centers in the Midwest. Duties consisted of sales and management training, installation of all air equipment, shakedown of new equipment, hired all production staff (body men, painters, prep personnel, managers). Graduated to Franchise Operations Director, working directly for the Vice President of Operations, oversaw compliance, advertising, profit and loss, managed franchisor protocols with franchisee pools within the larger DMAs. Led the chain in national sales growth for 3 consecutive years greater than 10% per year. Motivational speaking at Maaco national conventions and franchise owner’s class. Toured each spring to an average of 13 large DMAs to put on sales and leadership seminars.
Maaco Franchisee #1883, Chicago Hts. - December 1999, February 2007: Owned and operated a Maaco franchise. Performed Insurance Collision repairs, fleet refurbish work for Com Ed, People’s Gas, PACE, CTA, Chicago Housing Authority and many area car dealers. Supported the community with work release programs. Won most improved center in 2000 at the Nation Maaco Convention in New York City.
BodyTech Coatings Group - February 2007, November 2009: Performed as the Operations
Manager, installing seamless polymer floors. Managed all inventory and purchasing equipment, maintenance including 3 trucks and job trailers. Oversaw and led all installations. I took the installed sales from 730k to over 1 million with my first year of leadership. Led projects in the installation of Decorative Cement, overlays and artistic concrete stains. Company attracted the attention of Prime Coat Coatings Systems of Waukegan, IL and was bought out.
Prime Coat Coating Systems - November 2009, January 2015: Sold FDA approved seamlessly polymer and polymer mortar floor systems to the Food and Beverage manufactures in Chicagoland the metro area.
PermaTech Coatings - January 2015, October 2018: Operations & Pre-Construction
Administration on a nationwide basis. Responsible for all quotes, project scheduling,
communication with general contractors. Job costing to keep profit on track throughout each project. Administered DOT regulations, driver logs, compliance and health. Created safety programs, and instituted maintenance schedules for all company assets while in the field.
Polyglass Coatings / Endura Paint - November 2018, September 2020: Sold high performance, heavy duty anti corrosion primers and polyester paint systems. Created a market for Endura paint in the Semi Dump manufacturing industry. Brought social media (LinkedIn) to a successful level of use during the pandemic and did a presentation for all Endura sales staff on how to use it as a viable sales tool.
Excalibur Coatings Corp. - November 2020, February 2021: Sold high performance, heavy duty anti corrosion primers and polyester paint systems. Created a market for coating systems within the manufacturing industry.
Lazy Days RV Sales – April 2021, September 2021: Joined a six-member sales team to bring value to families when purchasing recreational vehicles. Shortened the diligence period in presenting a large inventory of Class A, Class B, Class C, and travel trailers. I sold 11 units within the first month on the sales floor.
Sherwin-Williams Corp. – October 2021, April 2025: Automotive Division – Commercial Vehicle Refinish Group (CVR Group). I was brought in as the first dedicated fleet salesperson in the country. My role was to develop paint sales solutions and autobody supplies throughout the fleet and transportation market in the Chicago market. I was successful in bringing many fleet operations to the Sherwin-Williams product refinish lines.
