Roles and responsibility
Quality, Health, safety and Environmental (SHEQ MANAGER) duties are: 1. Health and safety inspections: To check the effectiveness of Health and Safety measures by means of Health Safety inspection to ensure food borne illness does not happen. 2. Identify potential Hazards and risks: To identify potential dangers in the workplace and report them to the Health and Safety committee or the employer. 3. Investigating incidents: To investigate incidents, investigate complaints from workers regarding Health, Safety and Environmental matters, and report about it in writing. 4. 3.5 ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL GOVERNANCE (ESG) MANAGER-at Frostan Group LTD-Dar es salaam, Tanzania from July 2019 to March 2021 ESG Manager role is to manage and maintain the Combined ESG management and/or Social, Health, Environmental, Risk and Quality (SHERQ) management in the Production. ESG encompasses compliance with in-country legislation and applicable Performance Standards of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) with help from the Finance department and related international standards such as those of the International Labor Organization, the fundamental principles of Human Rights with help from HR department etc. Roles and responsibility
1. Development and implementation of an Environmental and Social Management System
(ESMS) for the company including policies and procedures 2. Provide Legislative and regulation advice to the company Management team on all matters relating to HSEQ
3. Coordinate implementation of actions in the company Environmental and Social Action Plan and report on these to management and the company board. 4.
