PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES, LETTERS OF RECCOMINDATION, ADDITIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE AND AN OUTLINE OF MY EXTENSIVE VOLUNTEER HISTORY ARE ALL AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST

April 11, 2020

Attention Hiring Department

Hiring Manager,

I wanted to take a few moments to introduce myself. My hope is to provide you with a little insight into who I am as a person and an employee. My experience working in an office environment is not only extensive it is diverse as well. I’ve had many titles, remaining very flexible and eager to learn new skills outside of my job description. Adapting to what was needed, willing to assist or contribute where my talents were optimized. In addition to my professional experience I am fortunate to have a rich volunteer history. Volunteering has allowed me to give back to my community and to get involved when there are issues, I feel passionate about. volunteering has helped me develop skills that have been useful in my personal and professional life.

I am entering back into the work force after two years devoted to my children. I decided the time was needed to help them adjust following our move from California. However, I am now more than ready to get back to work. Being a stay at home mom is the most difficult job I’ve ever had. The pay is awful, and hours are long. Plus, I’ve come to the realization that everyone would be happier and better adjusted if I had something for me. That something is a job, a reason to get ready every day, something to feel good about, where I know that I am contributing and bring value.

I bring to the table a wide array of skills and am always willing to learn something new. I am an extroverted ‘people person’ who does best when helping others. I know my way around any small thru large size office, from mom and pop organizations to the structural complexities of the California State legislature, and everything in between. I do well is high stress situations and am often the person nominated to deal with upset customer, or difficult employee reviews. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and am not afraid to ask for help but am equally willing to offer it. I am a team player who believes in the grater good and working to achieve a shared goal. As with anything new, if given the opportunity to grown as a member of you team, there may be a learning curve as I get my feet wet learn the in’s and out’s of a new position. However, I can guarantee if you hire me you will be glad you did. I have tenacity and am committed to putting my best foot forward evert day. I am driven, optimistic and put a smile behind everything I do. My goal is to not only get a job but to become an invaluable member of your organization. I look forward to discussing all I have to offer at your convenience, and I appreciate your consideration in advance.
