The project will bring the existing facility back to an acceptable standard closer to current Air Force requirements. Project: Special Operations Command South Headquarters (SOCSOUTH), Homestead AFB, FL ($35,000,000), Scope: The 123,000 square foot, three-story facility located on 39 acres adjacent to Homestead Air Reserve Base will encompass a Command and Control facility with multiple Secure Compartmentalized Information Facilities (SCIFs) and sensitive items storage, general purpose administrative areas and a standby generator. All building structures and envelope will be designed and built to provide a CAT-5 Atlantic Basin Hurricane protection. The project is design using an integrated design approach and is registered for LEED® Silver certification based on USGBC Version 3.0 standards.
Project: Troop Feeding Facility and Community Activity Center (TFF-CAC), Homestead AFB, FL ($6,300,000), Scope: Demolish the existing club structure and construct a new 18300 square foot, Community Activity Center/Troop Feeding Facility (CAC/TFF) on the existing site. The project consists of BIM design of a new dining facility with commercial grade kitchen, seating for 300 diners, a bar/lounge, community activity center, administrative offices and storage. An on-site charrette was conducted at the start of the design phase to further develop the original concept formed during the CCD phase. The project included comprehensive planning during the charrette phase, in order to site the facility. The TFF-CAC design used an integrated design approach and is registered for LEED® Silver certification based on USGBC Version 3.0 standards.

Project: Met II/Well Fargo Center (LEED), Miami, Fl Scope: The 740,000 square foot 47-story tower, Wells Fargo Center completed by Suffolk Construction was originally slated to achieve LEED Silver, but through a collaborative effort and extensive planning, the team upgraded the effort and brought the project to LEED Gold certification standards. With recognition as LEED Core and Shell Project of the Year and its recent LEED Gold certification, the Wells Fargo Center has helped to set the standard for sustainable office space.
Project: Park Plaza Professional Center, Pembroke Pines, FL, ($14,000,000, UNDER FORCLOSURER) Scope: The project, on 9.77 acres, is being developed by locally based Sky Development Inc., and will consist of two four-story, 80,000 SF buildings with retail on the first floor. The project will include a four-story parking garage with 538 parking spaces to be accompanied by an additional 288 surface parking spaces. The efficient floor plans will range from 1,500 to 20,000 SF and will offer attractive tenant improvement allowance. This project has been designed to meet U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification.

Project: MDWASD Wastewater Energy Efficiency Master Plan, Miami-Dade County, Florida: Provided engineering design services to Miami-Dade County in an effort to develop remedial actions plans (RAPs) to bring over 350 pump stations up to energy efficiency standards and operating compliance. The recommended upgrades ensured compliance with the 10-hour run time per day limit. The development of this energy efficiency plan also incorporated the projected flows of these water pumps through the 2030 planning horizon. The purpose of this task was to evaluate all aspects of the pump station, identify deficiencies, and provide energy efficiency recommendations in order to increase the critical station capacity and reduce pump run times below the 10-hour per day limit. The recommended improvements for individual pump stations would then be evaluated on a system-wide basis.
