Risk Management Framework

• Serve as an Information Systems Security Professional (ISSP) for the Southeast region.

• Perform Cybersecurity activities including security control assessments in support of Information Technology (IT) system assess and authorize activity utilizing the Risk Management Framework

(RMF).

• Exercise security oversight of cleared contractor information systems within the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).

• Analyze, assess, evaluate, verify and validate cleared contractor information system security plans and controls, and deliver system authorization risk recommendations to the Authorizing Official.

• Creates and maintains security authorization packages and procedures/plans for DISA requirements and FISMA compliance including, System Security Plan (SSP), Contingency Plan

(CP), Incident Response Plan (IRP), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), Configuration Management Plan (CMP), and Remediation Plans.

• Develops and maintains POA&Ms and supports remediation activities in coordination with the regional security professional subject matter experts

• Develops and maintain security documentation and artifacts for Information Systems assigned using the eMASS tool

• Maintains an inventory of hardware and software for information systems for the Department of the Army

• Reviewing, analyzing, and documenting security vulnerability and compliance scans

• Reports and coordinates with customers on their role in remediation

• Supports Change Management by performing Change Control Board (CCB) type activities such as ticketing through Service Now and the CCB repository by creating Change Requests for client requests
