Job Responsibilities
Actively participating in the daily operations of the farm from farming crops, cattle production and
breeding, Piggery and Road Runner projects.
Fed, watered all livestock to keep all stocks in peak health and optimal reproductive status
Maintained stock healthwith proactive grooming,
clipping, parasite and diesease control castration
Observing animals forfor signs of illness and
administering medicine were necessary
Checking for proper ventilationand temperature
conditions as extreme temperetures may cause
serious loss to pigs
Used all terrain vehicles to patrol expansive land holding pastures and grazing areas to monitor animal activities and fighting predators
Quarantine of animals in cases of signs and symptoms of diesease
Special attention to detail for piglets at their infancy to raise a healthy and profitable breed
Hoof trimming, deworming, dehorning, detoothing, among other duties
Waste removals and cleaning of pig sties and washing of pigs
Maintaining a pure breed by avoiding unplanned
mating
Transporting of stocks to abbatoirs or customers
Assisting in the birthing process of pigs, monitoring the piglets for any anormalies
Preparation of feeds
Education Qualifications:
