Work Experience

Warehouse Order Picker/Packer

Walmart-Chino, CA

October 2024 to January 2025

Picked items out of a bin, scanned and placed them into the designated cubbie to form orders. Packed orders according to items on order list, printed shipping labels, placed on boxes and set boxes on conveyor belt so they could be routed and shipped out to appropriate department. Packed 100 + items per hour to meet packing requirements. Located missing items that were not found when packing orders. Re ordered missing items. Packed VAS orders which are orders that may have high risk items such as chemicals, toxins, or other hazmat products in their orders and needed to be labeled with special labels aside from just the delivery label so drivers and emergency personal are aware should an emergency arise. Followed all safety procedures and worked with caution as to not have any safety issues or get hurt while working.

Order Picker/Packer

Walmart Fulfillment Center-Chino, CA

September 2023 to December 2023

Pick items and separate into orders and place on cubby so packer can continue to pack orders that need to be fulfilled. Pick and build appropriate boxes depending on orders. Scan each item pertaining to the order I am packing and place in box. Print shipping label and scan and place on box, then place packed order on conveyor belt so it can get ready to be shipped out to the customer. Transportation Specialist/ Personal Assistant

Amenity Freight, LLC.-Chino Hills, CA

August 2020 to July 2022

Most if not all transportation request was done through email. Once I received weight, measurements and quantity of the freight that needed to be transported, I would contact the carrier to set up the size of truck that was required to transport the freight and the time it needed to be picked up and the time it needed to arrive at its destination. Any other details that needed to be taken care of such as hotel accommodations, etc., were also taken care of if there was a longer trip or last minute delay, depending on the circumstance. Input all the customers information as well as the courier and receivers info into our system, printed the BIll of Lading. Sent a copy to the customer to give to the courier at time of pick up. Another BOL was sent to the courier to keep for their records for services rendered and a third copy was kept by us for billing, etc, etc. Made an appointment with the receiving party because some locations will only receive freight between certain times or days and we needed to make sure the freight was delivered. Over saw all deliveries by keeping in contact with the drivers and the couriers and the receiving party. Kept up with drivers locations and ETA status to make sure the scheduled appointment was not missed and they arrived on time. Missed appointments could have an impact on the delivery status; i.e.: expedited freight would not arrive on time due to having to reschedule receiving appointment and/or driver would have to spend the night one more night due to missed appointments which would make the shipping cost higher due to having to pay the driver for another day, hotel expenses, etc, etc. I did all the accounts payable and receivable for our company, including payments overseas thru our bank system through Zelle for services provided. Scheduled shipments overseas and saw that shipments arrived on time to the ports and made sure they had all paperwork necessary as to not have any trouble getting the shipment through customs. Worked with our customs broker to get all necessary paperwork in order to make sure there was no problem getting freight to its destination through the ports of entry. Filed all necessary paperwork into our computer and physical filing system. Packer/Picker

Warehouse Walmart Distribution Center 6022-Chino, CA November 2020 to December 2021

Picked items and placed them in appropriate location with other items so they could be packed and ready for shipping. Packed individual orders that were ordered on line. Printed shipping labels and scanned each item that was for one specific order to make sure all items ordered were shipped together. Checked foods for expiration dates.

Parent Partner

Children's Institute, Inc-Los Angeles, CA

November 2013 to November 2015

As a Parent Partner my job involved providing direct services to caregivers and parents by leveraging personal life experiences to support and motivate them towards achieving their goals. This role focuses on enhancing the social and emotional development of children by partnering with parents and caregivers, guiding them through available resources, and encouraging participation in support programs. Many of the Parents I worked with were foster parents and/or had biological children who had mental health problems stemming from past trauma and/or abuse. My job was to be a part of their support system to help navigate through the process of learning how to deal with certain situations. Sometimes parents didn’t have custody of their children and my job was to help support them in navigating through the process of getting their children back by linking them to low cost or no cost classes that were a requirement to take to get their kids back, offered by their community. Many times I went to court with parents because their kids/foster kids were on probation and they wanted to have someone their to support them while their kids spoke to the judge. I also went to school with one child for the whole day because it was the only way he would be accepted into school because his foster mom was having surgery and couldn’t go sit with him at school all day. This child had a history of fighting with classmates. I also helped a grandmother and her 5 grandsons move from one apartment to another. They had no truck and I happened to be driving one. My role as a Parent Partner was exactly that. Bilingual Administrative Assistant

County or Orange/ Child Support Services-Santa Ana, CA March 1998 to July 2005

Packaged and mailed out Summons and Complaints/ Paternity Judgments. Answered multi-phone lines and assisted Custodial Parents, Non-Custodial Parents, Employers, etc., with their Child Support Cases by providing status. I ialso input and updated any new information that was provided by the caller, be it the NCP, CP, or an employer. While on the phone I took notes about my conversation with the caller and made sure it was stored on our system under the appropriate case number. I set up appointments with CP at our intake office to get information on cases that didn’t provide much information to locate the NCP when the case was opened. Input correct codes for the information provided into our computer system. Set up in-person appointments with the parents of the Minor Children so the father could sign a Parernity Opportunity Paper, aka POP if one was not signed at the hospital at the time the child was born. That form is a paternity declaration that is signed by the father admitting to paternity if the parents are unmarried when the minor child is born. It is now a requirement for all parents who have children and are not legally married. Contacted NCP employer for many reasons, i.e; to verify employment, receipt of payment, if Wage Assignments was received either by mail, fax, or email or simply to verify if NCP was still employed. Filed any and all paperwork that came in pertaining to each case into its physical file. Made copies of necessary paperwork for the Family Support Officers, lawyers, or for whatever other reason it was needed. Made phone calls to attempt to locate some NCP’s so they could be served with a Summons and Complaint/Paternity Judgment. Filed property liens on some NCP’s property at the court house. Looked for assets when we our office was not receiving payments from the NCP and/or they could not be located. Attended town hall meetings.
