Line Lead Lamination Operator/Slitter//Extrusion operator

• Set up, operate, and maintain multiple lamination machines at one time.

Laminated on the following Flexible Packaging Films: 7 Mil PET,5 Mil PET, 17 MIL Termex, 2 Mil Metallized, .58 MILand Topaz 7 MIL

Responsible for training all new lamination operators in all procedures pertaining machines and the lamination process

Read job specifications and previous run data to determine machine adjustments and material requirements

Participate in on-going training opportunities and supports a continuous quality improvement environment

Operate line to produce sheets rolls for production in thermoforming department

• Check sheet gauge to meet company specifications after all roll changes

• Troubleshoot extruder during startups and put line in production minimizing scrap

• Perform die adjustments for gauge distribution and good-quality

• Maintained a high standard of quality and inspecting rolls after each run

• Responsible for full set up and operation of slitting machine

• Operate crane to load rolls of material

• Package rolls according to packaging specifications

• Input of materials and supplies into inventory computer software

• Quality testing before and after production

• Use air compression and measurement tools

• Detailed cleaning of machines
