Project Description: This project included aspects of SFDC as it was the requirement to harmonize the North America market with 52 other upcoming markets. The SFDC templates were being used by NA market only, but the main challenge was to globalize the SFDC use for our client without impacting the current functionality for NA under the same org. The areas of my involvement during my early days in this project are as follows.

Roles / Responsibilities:

Harmonized Salesforce org templates for North American and global markets, maintaining functionality and scalability.

SFDC related out of box configuration, i.e., creating templates for different objects but creating different types of fields, record types, page layout. Structuring the data entered by creating Validation rules and adding logic to data on creation or later updates using different types of events of Workflow rules.

For non out of box functionality, worked on requirements which needed the help of Apex Triggers. Logic which cannot be implemented by standard SFDC components such as process builders and workflows implemented Triggers with their service classes.

Implemented Salesforce configurations, including workflows, validation rules, and sharing rules.

Developed Apex triggers and service classes to execute complex logic outside of Salesforce’s standard functionality.

Complex Data loading activities involving multi-level of relationship using Apex Data Loader, Workbench, etc

Controlling user permissions by creating different types of business profiles. Controlling record visibility among users by OWD, different types of sharing rules or by hierarchy.

Worked on integration solutions with Informatica and Eloqua, supporting advanced marketing automation.

Delivered training and support to end-users to drive adoption and proficiency.

Developing end to end functionality considering complex logic with the help of Apex classes and Visual Force Pages involving scripting and JavaScript.
