Curriculum: UK (International Baccalaureate (IB)) using IPC methodology Formal school representative to present new school proposal to KHDA.
Initially presented Academic Plan, business / financial plan & supporting materials to KHDA and lead Academic Plan review meetings.
Using a detailed Project Plan all school requirements were flushed out and met: Facilities preparation plan (outside: the building, grounds, play equipment, etc., inside: murals, hallways, classrooms, technology, painting, etc.) marketing plan, website, etc.
Student capacity: 390 students (would only roll out K to Grade 4 the 1st year, with K6 at max.)
Student count: Increased from 2700 to 3,600 – a 33% increase. Teacher count: 230 … Personally recruited over 30 new teachers. Curriculum: American Common Core (Advanced Ed) with the core combined with the National UAE curriculum.
Students' Achievement (their attainment, progress, learning and development, including assessment) across the whole school, working with the Academic Director (Learning and Teaching) to deliver outstanding outcomes for students' and staff.
Day to day: included school walk-throughs, Teacher and Student observations, Teacher Hiring, Student and Parents issue resolutions. Organization Structure: Direct reports included: Head of Academics, Head of Departments, Head of Sections & Student Councilor / Social Workers plus Technology & Medical Clinics.
Goals Achieved:

recommendations based on observation and evaluation of gaps – also implemented best practices, policies and processes
