As the team member responsible for Pitch Sessions, due diligence of MG awarded SMEs through physical check of all financial documents /registration of SME, audit reports, Bank Statements documents, stock book, cash book flow of financial matters etc. The physical check was also made of sites like areas of commodity cultivation, and the number of permanent & temporary employees male and female. National Expert Organizational Development (Jan 2016 to March 2021):

The individual contributed to the $8 million “Australia Balochistan Agribusiness Project” across 14 districts, focusing on strengthening agribusiness organizations like Farmers Marketing Collectives (FMCs), Mutual Marketing Organizations (MMOs), and SMEs. Responsibilities included capacity building, training needs assessments, and fostering partnerships with organizations like UNICEF, WFP, microfinance institutions, the State Bank, and the Cooperative Department. They supervised FMCs, led SME awareness sessions, and addressed child stunting and malnutrition through homestead kitchen gardens and nutrition programs for pregnant and lactating women under the FAO Emergency Project.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, they facilitated emergency response interventions, ensuring small producers, especially women, could sustain production. Relief efforts included animal vaccination, distribution of tools, seeds, fertilizers, and training on climate-smart agriculture and value chain development. Awareness was raised on government financing schemes, and support was provided to local business institutions to maintain services during restrictions. The project reached over 6,000 direct beneficiaries (48,000 indirect), forming 60 FMCs, 15 MMOs, and 10,000 Farmer Field Schools (FFSs), significantly benefiting women, youth, and marginalized communities.

National Expert Community Development (June 2010-Dec 2015):

Worked in Balochistan Agriculture Project BAP funded by USAID in 14 districts of Balochistan worth 450 million USD, with a focus on supervising and leading the formation of community organizations (male/female), needs assessment, action plans, also ensured exceptional care of gender-segregated interventions with a focus on gender equity. His main responsibilities were to ensure Food security and livelihood and Ensure capacity building of COs and other institutions including Train-the-Trainers, integrated production, and marketing intervention into a supply chain mode for productivity enhancement and improved farm incomes. Ensured the Women target beneficiaries’ involvement in livestock, poultry, kitchen garden and wool marketing. He Produced the training manual on Community Management Skill Training (CMST), Leadership Management Skill Training (LMST) and training Manual on Running of Famer’s Marketing Collective (FMC) SMEs. Played a role in the Professionalization of Farmer's Associations and Worked in close partnership with the relevant organizations including nation-building departments, NGOs, etc. In the project life formed – FFS, --SMEs.

Community Development Officer in Area Development Program Balochistan (ADPB) funded by UNDP, WFP and the Government of Balochistan in 8 districts with the innovative technique of involvement of communities in need identification, planning, design and implementation rather than the traditional top-down approach adopted by government departments worth PKR 835 Million in the sectors; A total of 638 Male& Female Community Organizations formed whereas 42% Women Community Organizations formed @ 12 membership in one CO. Local area development, introduce savings, improve agriculture and livestock productivity, rehabilitate rangelands/ watersheds, improve access to social services and bring the women in economic mainstreaming. Offered technical guidance and leadership for the community mobilization process in the program areas, led livelihood Initiatives on participatory approach as well as monitored and controlled social mobilization process, and sectoral interventions. He provided Provision of technical guidance and supervision of the community mobilization process in the programme areas. United Nations Development Program (UNDP) December 1999 to July 2001

Team Leader Social Mobilization, in Balochistan Trail District Management project (BTDM) was implemented as a pilot project in the districts of Jhal Magsi and Loralai districts. The Project focused on strengthening existing institutional arrangements with some modifications on a trial basis to assess types of institutional reform and other changes that might be required for decentralization of delivery of public sector services and making them more effective. My responsibilities were to; Identification of settlements and villages that agreed to participate in project activities, Orient communities about the problems of service and their role in the improvement of the service delivery system and strengthen the capabilities of local councils and line agencies in the implementation of sustainable, decentralized, participatory development. Enhance community participation to have better monitoring of public sector services, planning and implementation of village-level infrastructure and local resource mobilization for sustainable economic development. Baluchistan Primary Education Development Program Mar 1993 to Nov 1999

Research Officer (Monitoring & Evaluation), in USAID funded Project, Balochistan Education Management Information System (BEMIS) establishment of a vital- information gathering and dissemination unit within the Primary Education system in Balochistan and my responsibility was to develop the Job Descriptions for the field staff and as well as the leading staff of Directorate of Primary Education Balochistan. Job descriptions were developed for Learning Coordinators, Sub Divisional Education Officers (SDEOs) District Education Officers (DEOs) Assistant Directors, Deputy Directors, and Additional Directors and the Director of Balochistan Primary Education. Monitored Community Support and Fellowship Schools all over Balochistan Province. Prepared the monitoring tools regarding the parent-teacher school management committees PTSMC, Fellowship and CSP Schools. Involved in the preparation of student achievement (competency) tests for grades III and V. Performed duties as a member of the Technical Committee for the preparation of the Pakistan Achievement Test in the subjects Urdu and Mathematics.

Field Assistant in World Bank & KFW funded project designed to increase agricultural production through minor irrigation and command area development works, and the introduction of improved agricultural practices; improve the information base and institutional capacity for planning, preparing and implementing minor irrigation schemes, and introduce appropriate forms of local participation; and develop technical and economic criteria and specifications for preparation of integrated minor irrigation schemes in various districts of Balochistan.
