JOB HISTORY & QUALIFICATIONS
CURRENT EMPLOYMENT: Spectrum Healthcare Solutions, US Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD 21402
JOB TITLE: Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer (PEBLO) May 2020 to September 2024
The PEBLO is the main point of contact between the service member, the family, the Chain of
Command, the VA, and the PEB throughout the DoD Disability Process. As PEBLO I compiled all the information from the service member, his physicians, his commander, and any other source that is necessary to properly prepare a Military Disability Case Package according to the Med Board standards. The PEBLO counsels and monitors the Service Member through the medical process and sends all the information to the Medical Evaluation Board (MEB). While maintaining an average 50 cases they were audited weekly for staff meeting reporting and kept the service member, commands and division updated on the progress of the Boards. Once the MEB makes its determination, the member and JAG attorney is notified by the PEBLO to review results. The results and necessary forms are sent via DOD Safe for the SM to make their decision on the findings...i.e accept or reject. Case is then completed.
