As a customer service representative, I handled cars that were brought back to the car rental agency using a device that I could hold over a barcode to make the car ready to be stored in the parking garage.
After that the device was used again to store the gas usage and miles the car had been driven around. Next the keys had to be placed on the dashboard to give the other car rental workers an idea that the car was scanned for mileage and gas. If there were any flaws like in the gas reading or mileage I would direct them to the Rental Car booth to make a late payment or pay a fuel fee.

As a table busser, only I was responsible for making sure customers had a clean table. I did this by walking up to the table the customers left to sanitize and wipe it with a washcloth. The seats and table were sanitized by me using a cloth on it. All the dishes were taken in the back of the kitchen where I sorted them and stacked them in different stacks. Next, our dishwasher used a rack to clean them by inserting a rack filled with dirty dishes into a machine while I was waiting for them to wash. After the dishes were washed,I picked up a stack of dishes or cups to place them in the area where the waiters could find them but I had to make sure they were available constantly. This helped the business run properly.

As a customer service representative at Clorox, the call center was where the calls were received and us CSRs needed to access the company website with the credentials we made up when trained to answer calls and input client’s new orders in the customers file or account. The calls were even for us to either track their order or make a new order. The client’s had to let us use personal information like credit cards for their orders. Even Social security numbers had to be used to access or pull up the account for the most recent information they so dearly needed. We had to have empathy for them and be quick and multi- task.
