• Greet patients, visitors, and staff with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

• Assist patients and visitors with directions to departments, treatment areas, or specific rooms within the facility.

• Answer phone calls promptly, address inquiries from patients or family members, and direct calls to the appropriate department or staff. Screen visitors for appropriate access, issue visitor badges, and ensure they follow hospital policies for visiting patients.

• Monitor patients to prevent self-harm, harm to others, or wandering from designated areas. Ensure patients follow hospital or facility rules.

• Keep accurate records of patient interactions, behavioral observations, and responses to treatment or medication, which will be used by healthcare professionals to adjust care plans. Mental Health Aide

• Provide direct care services, treatment, rehabilitation, and support individuals diagnosed with mental illness. Assist individuals to participate in games and recreational programs; coach and encourage individuals to develop daily living skills; and provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Work with other staff to develop, carry out, and record care plans, and, in accordance with special instructions it may be physically demanding. You would need to be prepared to act to ensure the health and safety of patients and staff. We do 24 Hour round checks every day and make sure everyone in the building. Admission Clerk

• Contact the insurance provider and verify the patient’s coverage. Let the patient know of any out of pocket expense for them admission. Take a photo of the patient to have in their chart for admissions records and the unit records. Input patient’s information into the computer. Explain various consents that’s related to hospital policy. ECT Department

• Assist nurses with patients after treatment and transfer them to recovery room. Then vitals are taken and see if there was any complications. Offer the juice or water to help flush the medication given to them during the procedure. Then by wheel chair take them down stairs to the awaiting family member.

• Accept cash and checks for deposit into customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

• Process cash withdrawals and provide customers with the correct amount of money from their accounts.

• Help resolve customer issues or direct them to the appropriate department or bank officer for more complex matters.
