Contact/Volunteer Representative/Patient Advocate
My role as the Contact Representative is a vital role as I provide support and guidance to patients navigating the healthcare system. This position requires interacting with patients and their families while they are in the hospital, and engaging with patients across various clinics, while maintaining a courteous and empathetic demeanor. As the Contact Representative I also am responsible for assisting with the onboarding of volunteers to the organization, conducting newcomers’ orientation as needed and assisting at the information desk. I have developed a strong understanding of the hospital's layout, services, and processes, as well as staying up to date with any changes or updates. I received all Interactive Customer Evaluations (ICE) and make sure that they are completed within the 7 days. Effective communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential, as I often be deal with individuals who may be stressed, anxious, or in need of urgent care. My ability to remain calm, composed, and helpful significantly contributes to the overall efficiency and atmosphere of the medical facility.

Serve as a Medical Support Assistant supporting the Central Appointment Line. Receive and schedule appointments for Primary Care, and Specialty clinics. Make referral phone calls for Audiology and General Surgery and make those appointments. I participated on the Video Connect Committee working on transitions from Virtual appointments to video appointments.
