Launched an aggressive purchasing initiative to reduce inventory by reviewing vendor lead times to deliver goods more efficiently; the dollar value of inventory decreased from $7 million to $4 million; inventory turns ratio improved from 2.3 on average to 9.0. Conduct month end inventory for all purchased items required for daily production and participate in annual physical inventory. Revised scheduling processes to improve on time deliveries from an average of 55% to over 98%.
