During a diverse career in Military Intelligence, led groups from 5 to 225 intelligence personnel. Served in a wide variety of assignments, to include: Deputy G2, 7th Infantry Division; Chief, Targeting Section, US Army III Corps; Apache Squadron S-2; and Chief of the Army Intelligence Support Element to the First Marine Expeditionary Force during the Persian Gulf War, and as a Company Commander at the Defense Language Institute. Supervised the Strategic Communications Cell for U.S. Strategic Command and oversaw the development of military information operations in coordination with Public Affairs, State Department, and multiple agencies. Served as the Major General’s liaison to U.S. Cyber Command.

- Served as a Spanish interrogator. Interviewed “Marielitos” in Miami who recently arrived in the US from Cuba.

- Wrote series of HUMINT IIRs on Cuba. Applied US Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and Customs and Border Protection collection and reporting, concepts, principles, directives, and policies, to produce high-quality IIRs that respond to information gaps and intelligence collection requirements.

- After a year deployment supporting the Marine Corps during the Persian Gulf War, wrote Master's thesis on the need for Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace, incorporated into joint doctrine..
